Speakers
Dr David Fraile Navarro is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Health Informatics, Australian Institute of Health Innovation at Macquarie University. His work currently centres on novel approaches to health automation and healthcare delivery using Generative AI (such as ChatGPT and related large language models). He is a trained General Practitioner with over 7 years of clinical experience in Spain and the UK. He has also previously worked on producing Living Guidelines for COVID-19 and new evidence synthesis methods with Cochrane Australia and Monash University.
Diana Trickett has been a member of the HCNSW Leaders Taskforce since 2020 and a member of the SHP Consumer Advisory Panel since 2022. She is the Co-Chair of the Panel for 2026-2027. Diana is also a member of the SHP Geriatric Medicine Clinical Academic Group Leadership Team and the USyd Faculty of Medicine and Health Consumer Advisory Group. She is a consumer advisor with over 9 years of experience and a retired Registered Nurse and Midwife. Diana is a committed advocate for consumer involvement in every stage of the research process and is currently a Consumer Chief Investigator (CI) on the NH&MRC-funded DECIDE study, the MRFF-funded FASTER study, and an Associate Investigator (AI) on the MRFF-funded SIESTA study. Diana is committed to ensuring that health consumers from every walk of life are involved in decision making about the use of AI in all health services and health research.
