The National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) has released the draft Statement on Consumer and Community Involvement in Health and Medical Research. HCNSW will host two online consultations, one for consumers involved in research and one for consumer organisations. This consultation is for health consumers involved in research.
Even if you have already taken part in the NHMRC’s surveys and roundtables, it is important that we hear your perspective! These consultations will guide HCNSW’s feedback on the draft guidelines and build on our advocacy and policy work on involving consumers and the community in health research.

- What is missing in the statement?
- What needs to happen to support meaningful involvement of consumers in research?
