Consumer Scholarship: Western NSW Health Research Network Conference

• Are you a health consumer or community representative who lives in Western or Far West NSW (from Oberon to the South Australian border)?
• Do you have health consumer representative experience or want to learn about health research?
• Are you available to travel to Dubbo and attend the Western NSW Health Research Network Conference in person on November 18 and 19, 2024?
• Are you available in October and November 2024 to participate in online planning meetings for a co-design workshop at the conference?

Three Rivers Department of Rural Health and Charles Sturt University have 5 conference scholarships for consumers to attend the Western NSW Health Research Network Conference from 18 to 19 November 2024 in Dubbo.

What is included in the scholarship?

• Travel and accommodation costs to attend the two-day conference, including two night’s accommodation and subsistence and all travel costs to and from Dubbo.
• Payment for planning and being part of a co-design workshop at the conference on 18 November 2024 at $52 an hour.
• Access to the online learning course: Introduction to Consumer Involvement in Health Research through Health Consumers NSW (CCI 101)
• The opportunity to connect with researchers and consumers at the conference.
