Training for consumer representatives, health staff and researchers - towards meaningful co-design

Training

We offer training and education programs for health consumer representatives and health service staff. Our aim is to increase the confidence of consumers and staff to implement health consumer engagement in any setting.

Through collaborative peer-learning, facilitated discussions, workshop activities and networking opportunities, we empower consumers and staff to provide meaningful contributions to health service improvement, delivery, evaluation and innovation.

Training for community and health consumer representatives

We currently run two regular online health consumer representative courses and on-demand face-to-face courses.

Joint training for researchers and consumers in research

We run online and face-to-face joint training for researchers and consumers in health research. These courses are currently run on demand in partnership with research organisations.

  • CCI 101: Introduction to Consumer Involvement in Health Research (short online course for beginners, currently run for one research organisation, coming for all in mid-2024)
  • CCI201: Who, what, when and how of Consumer Involvement in Health Research (intermediate, face-to-face, 4-5hr workshop)
