In 2025,  Health Consumers NSW (HCNSW) collaborated with the Association for the Wellbeing of Children in Healthcare (AWCH) and First Nations young people to envision and develop a foundation of knowledge and resources for healthcare organisations and services to better engage with young First Nations people.

Together, the project collaborators co-created a collection of resources and tools to help non-Indigenous staff and organisations approach, plan, design, and deliver authentic and effective engagement with First Nations young people.
