Health Consumer NSW’s podcast and video series

Join renowned broadcaster and throat cancer survivor Julie McCrossin as she presents our four-part podcast and video series promoting how patients and their families can use the Australian Charter of Healthcare Rights (the Charter) to make their voices heard.

In each episode, Julie is joined by up to four guests – from diverse health consumer representatives and family advocates to doctors and experts. Each episode discusses different rights in the Charter and provides hands-on ideas and tools for improving individual care and healthcare for all.

You can listen to the podcasts on most podcast platforms or watch the video versions online. Get comfortable and tune in as patients, carers and clinicians talk about their experiences with the Charter, shared decision making, giving feedback and how they have improved healthcare for all.
