HCNSW has signed the Trans Justice Project’s Statement of Solidarity with the Trans Community
HCNSW has signed the Trans Justice Project’s Statement of Solidarity with the Trans Community. With various recent decisions directly affecting the health and wellbeing of trans, gender diverse and LGBTQIA+ people, in the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia, Health Consumers NSW expresses solidarity with the trans, gender diverse, and wider LGBTQIA+ community.
As Trans Day of Visibility (31st March 2025) approaches, we reiterate our commitment to ensuring our organisation and the work we do is informed, affirming, and intersectional; representing consumer voices and highlighting the experiences of those with intersectional identities and needs. HCNSW is committed to ensuring the NSW health system is the best it can be – for all.
