We are proud to share an important milestone in our journey – the launch of our first Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP).
Our RAP represents more than a commitment on paper. It’s a promise to listen deeply, build respectful relationships, and walk alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as allies in shaping a fairer, culturally safe health system.
Developed with our RAP Working Group, the plan sets out clear actions to strengthen relationships, embed cultural respect, and ensure First Nations voices are heard and valued in health services, policy and research decision-making.
You can explore the plan, featuring the artwork ‘Nurturing Voices’ by Wiradjuri artist Shelby Lyons, and read more about what reconciliation means to us.
If you are interested in joining our RAP Working Group or partnering with us to support First Nations voices in the healthcare system in NSW, please contact Julia Brockhausen by emailing jbrockhausen@hcnsw.org.au.
