We encourage individual consumers and consumer organisations to complete a submission via the NHMRC portal by 16 June 2024.
The National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) and the Consumers Health Forum of Australia Ltd (CHF) are collaborating to review the 2016 Statement on Consumer and Community Involvement in Health and Medical Research (the Statement).

If you have a story about a positive or negative experience of your involvement in research (as either a consumer, patient, adviser or co-researcher or as part of a governance structure), please feel free to share this experience. Together with your experiences, we can work to improve Consumer and Community Involvement in research.
We encourage individual consumers and consumer organisations to complete a submission via the NHMRC portal by 16 June 2024. Include in your submission what is important to you, as well as what is not covered by the questions in the NHMRC survey or our template guide. You can complete answers to the questions in this submission via the online portal here.
