Invitation for your nomination to the HCNSW Board
Health Consumers NSW (HCNSW) is seeking enthusiastic people with a real interest in health consumer involvement to join our Board. As one of our valued Voting Member Organisations, we are inviting your nomination.
For detailed information, please refer to our ‘JOINING THE HCNSW BOARD 2024’.
In order to nominate for a Board Member position, nominees should complete and return the following:
- Completed Nomination, Candidate Statement and Fitness-to-Serve forms (HCNSW Nomination Form)
- A short CV highlighting relevant experience and skills
- Current photo
Nominations to the HCNSW Board are to be made in writing on the attached Nomination Form and include the candidate’s written consent. Nominations are to be returned by scanned email to info@hcnsw.org.au, or posted to HCNSW Registered Office, Suite F/ LG, 280 Pitt St, SYDNEY 2000. Please note:
- Members of the HCNSW Board must be health consumers and be nominated and supported by a Voting Member organisation of HCNSW;
- Nominations for election for the Board must be returned to the HCNSW Registered Office by Friday 27 September 2024 (midday AEST). Nominations which are not in the hands of the Returning Officer by the deadline will not be accepted.
- If the number of nominations received is equal to the number of vacancies to be filled, the persons nominated are taken to be elected;
- If the number of nominations received exceeds the number of vacancies to be filled, a postal ballot will be held.
