Help communities have a voice

Donate to Health Consumers NSW

Health Consumers NSW has amplified the voice of health consumers for over 10 years. Your donation ensures that we can continue to provide training, education and support to patients, families and carers who want to make a difference. These health consumer representatives use their lived experience to make health systems, services and health research better.

Any support you provide is greatly appreciated. Donations to Health Consumers NSW of $2 and over are tax deductible and you will receive a receipt by email.

Our main funding comes from the NSW Health Ministry. We earn additional money through our paid training courses and consultation and project services.

Individual donation

We will use your one-off or regular contribution of any amount over $2 to support health consumers.

We will use donations to:

  • pay for health consumer representative training for health consumers who want to do the training but can’t secure training funding from the organisation they are representing at
  • pay conference fees and travel and accommodations costs for health consumer representatives to attend crucial conferences where the voices of health consumers should be heard but aren’t
  • run campaigns and projects of high importance to health consumers, but not so important to health services and providers (our main funders)
  • support small and emerging health consumer groups to build their groups and run them
  • support health consumers to have a voice in other ways.
